HELP! Bleached hair problem?
In September bleached a strip of my hair to turn it blonde. It didn’t turn the blonde i wanted, instead it turned into a brassy orange because my hair was dark brown. I went to a beauty supply store and asked how to make my orange-y colored strip blonde, and the lady said the only way to make it blond is the bleach it again because a regular blonde hair dye wouldn’t do anything. So i bleached my hair recently (this month april) and it turned to the PERFECT blonde color. My problem is, is that every time i wash my hair, or my hair gets wet the blonde strip feels like jelly, and easily comes out with any tug, so i’m scared to wash or brush my blonde strip.
How can i strengthen my hair, because i know i over processed it.
Prom is next week, and i wanted to get my hair done at a salon, but i think that they might not be able to curl my hair or my strip because it’s to weak.
Please help.
it does sound like you have over processed your bleach strip, you MUST treat it carefully, try buying a keratin enriched Spray treatment. as keratin is what gives your hair its strength. other than that the other option is cutting the excess play off your hair. or for a longer process buy clynol infuse (from Sally’s hair and beauty) this is a leave in treatment with i have seen work miracle’s.
the stylist will be able to curl it for your prom but it MUST be heat protected.
