Stress and hair loss question??
Hi, about a year ago, i had one night (just 1) of some pretty intense stress. Needless to say, i immediatly lost much of my hair, just in one day, and also i lost alot of body hair too! it just kept falling off…. also, my beard did not grow in correctly for over a month… before it grew in VERY thick, but when i had the stress, it didnt grow at all. On top of that, the remaining hair (particularily on my face) had a really coarse and somewhat “greasy” feel. are these all normal symptoms of stress related hair loss?
My 10 year old niece was stressed from going back and forth with her divorced parents and the impending custody case and developed alopicia. I don’t know if it’s normal.She went to a dermatologist.
