How do I donate my hair? Or to who?
I am a male, have long hair…about an 8 inch afro, I keep it wrapped in a bandana.
I’m about to cut my hair for Army ROTC.
Many people say I have “good hair” so I’m sure it could be used by someone else.
I have heard of donating hair to people without it, like cancer patients and such, but I don’t know how to or if there is some organization I send my hair to.
I just don’t want all the six months of growing I did to go to waste.

Call around & ask salons. My salon donates the hair to Locks Of Love (for cancer patients). The cut off hair needs to be at least 6″. We put it in a pony tail & cut just above the pony tail. Then we get your info & send it off. I don’t have the address though – our manager is the one who sends them.
