Should I use mousse or setting lotion for when my hair is in rollers?
My hair is a little below my shoulders with short layers and somewhat thick. I have different types of sizes in bristle/mesh rollers. I was planning on using the bigger ones for volume. I want volume and not so much curls. I don’t want my hair to be so stiff and hard with the mousse or lotion, so which one should I use. I am going to wash my hair before and let it air dry a little before I put my rollers in. After I put my hair in rollers I am going to lightly spray with hairspray and I will sleep with them overnight. After I take them out I was planning on flipping my hair over and again spraying my hair with hairspray to hold all day for a wedding. I need some help please.
Mousse is generally less sticky than setting lotion in my experience. You might go easy with the hair spray, too.
