Im thining about getting a perm .. [ I have indian hair .. ] ?
Okaay, I am sooo tired of having to wake up early everyday just to straighten my hair. I have indian hair, thick, frizzy and curly. My hair is like 4 inches below my shoulders.
So I want to know everything I can about perms.
Like the basics, how much do they cost? ; How long do they last ? ; Pros and cons ? ; Is it still straight even AFTER taking ashower , how do they perm your hair anyway?
And you can through in whateverelse you want. =]
perms last about as long as it takes your hair to grow *new growth*
you tend to get them as often as it takes to keep this new growth from showing…
a perm will straighten your hair so say goodbye to frizzy hair after a shower HOWEVER there is serious damage when getting perms…
when you realize that those chemicals are sooo harmful to your hair you’ll want to stop which will be even harder because you have to deal with the tangling mess of permed hair and natural hair…
trust me it’s not worth it though it will make it manageablee as long as your keep getting the chemicals put in your head…
a home perm ranges from about 4-10 dollars (of course salon mixes are alot more)
you perm your hair by simply parting your hair and applying the perm on the hair strands NOT THE SCALP…you have *virgin* hair so you’ll have to get the roots and ends permed but after the first one you;ll only need touch-ups for new growth
