Every time I think about a trip to New York, either on holiday or just a brief visit one or two days I can not help but think of Broadway and the delightful shows that expected in these hallowed halls of entertainment delight. Broadway is the essence of New York for me. Alternatively obscene, boiling point, loud, noisy, sweet, romantic comedy, and RIP-roaringly hilarious. Broadway has everything for those willing to seek their ideal.
The problem with Broadway is that there are so many wonderful performances to view and limited time, for example (most of us) in which to view them. I do not think that even those who live in New York long enough to appreciate the artistic treasure which is represented in this wonderful city that never sleeps ever. The truth of the matter is that to enjoy all the theatrical offerings available to you, you could almost never sleep yourself.
Music
It is important to remember that all programs are available at any time. Check whether the program want to see during your visit before getting your hopes. In the musical, which is also the type of entertainment to Broadway. Chicago, The Musical, Forbidden Broadway (offering hilarious parody "of Broadway), Jersey Boys, Naked Boys Singing (yes, son!), Phantom of the Opera, Rent, Wicked and Mama Mia!
Comedy
Broadway is well known for making fun of the agreement and respect to let their hair down and with a good old time. The same is true for the Broadway theater today. Comedies and musicals on Broadway, are not mutually exclusive and are listed below some of hilarity have a degree in dancing and singing (and most likely a little of both, but certainly going to laugh). Let the comedy begin! I love you, Your Perfect, Now Change (seriously, that is the name we have already made an excellent start in the way of laughter). Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead (I think someone have a look at the children of my windows at night, this is really off-Broadway, but I thought it was cited as catchy a title and all). Spamalot. This is a rising star with great reviews by critics and a fairly good attendance rate to Buy your tickets now! The producers, who recently was released as a movie and the Little Dog Laughed round my comedies. I hope you see something here that looks like a laugh I know I've seen a few!
Drama
While many people think of the happy go lucky song and dance that is often associated with Broadway there is a deep dramatic flare to offer. In particular, some of the music carry profound messages about music, life and love among these wonderful icons of Broadway are: the musical life of rent — La Boheme very happy Modern is probably one of the best Broadway musicals I've ever seen, and I am a big fan of Phantom. Les Miserables is another Broadway theater you really need little introduction, Gray Gardens is ideal for anyone who fears being a woman of cats or individual, A Chorus Line, Chicago, The Color Purple, The Phantom of the Opera (my personal favorite), and The Vertical Hour (this is a new hope that hard).
There is a family friend several musicals and plays that deserve mention including: Wicked, The Phantom of the Opera (May be a little scary for younger children in certain scenes), Tarzan, The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Momma Mia!, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Beauty and the Beast. You know your child best and what may or may not be scared by them or even lead to questions embarrassing for you, for most Broadway plays with that in mind.
Broadway is a great way to really enjoy what New York has to offer visitors for entertainment. Well it not be possible to see each and every show to get their attention is likely to make time to see what appeals to you more and will quite an experience for the whole family.
