Make up artist in New York?(please answer)?
Ok so I want to be a hair and make-up atrist in New York for the ppl on Broadway when I urn 18 and was wondering if anybody had any information about this and if they could please give me any tips or advice thanx
Well, you’d have to have experience with theatrical makeup, for starters.
Then there’s the fact that just about every job on Broadway require being a member of a union. For technicians, that’s the IATSE (there is an old joke that the letters stand for “I Am Through Seeking Employment”, as it’s a competitive field and a very difficult union to join).
