Going to see Hair the Musical?
Okay, so over the summer my parents and I are going to New York and we’re planning on seeing Hair, which I reaaallllyyyy want to see–but I’ve heard that there’s a lot of nudity (which would be extremely awkward wit my rents). I already saw Spring Awakening (I’m a major Guilty One), which was sorta awkward to see wit my rents. So, if you’ve seen Hair, how awkward will it be? I’m 15, by the way.
Thanks.
LUCKY.
spring awakening and hair? soo jealous.
well, i haven’t seen the show, but my friend’s mom saw it waaaaay back when with the original cast, so if they stay true to it, it’s just a scene. it might be just as or a little more awkward than spring awakening, so i wouldn’t worry about it too much. it looks amazing though- the cast pulls audience members up on stage during the finale of let the sunshine in and they do a ton of audience interaction. be sure to get good seats:)

Godspell $4.70 Comparing Godspell to its near-contemporaries Jesus Christ Superstar and Hair is unavoidable, but Godspell has developed its own unique following. With their thrift-store-meets-circus-performer garb, the characters in David Greene’s adaptation of the popular off-Broadway production may look more like the hippies in Hair than the biblical personages of Superstar. But Godspell isn’t really about th… |
