What could be causing hair loss?
My dog has lost his hair in two small places, close to his nose. I know the answers demodicosis or ringworm is obvious, but these two seem to cause redness, scaling, etc. and this is just lack of hair. The healthy-looking skin underneath and clear. Dahlia is a border collie mix, possibly with the lab, but we're not sure. It is almost all black (a few strands of white hair here and there). Um … James? Perhaps that should read the details. My dog loses his hair a little, not me. Could afford to lose some hair. LOL
