Is my dog getting better already?
my 14 week puppy was diagnosed friday with sarcoptic mange. She had crusty ear tips and scratching violently. She has never had any hair loss at all. They gave her ivermectin once a week for 4 weeks and a special shampoo 2 a week. Well already she isnt itching hardly at all, and her ears look better too. Could she be getting better already?? She never had the nasty hair loss and never looked like those poor dogs on the internet that I have seen pictures of with this type of mange. Could it be a mild case? Or could I have taken her to vet early in the stages of it?

From what you say, I would think that she is getting better; but I would check with your vet just to be sure.
