How to get rid of facial hair while using Roaccutane?

I have been using Roaccutane for about 5 months now. It is really helping me and since I am getting married in 4 months time, I am really pleased with the result. However, the dermatologist told me that I should’nt wax while using Roaccutane. I can’t use laser therapy because the hair on my face is very light and apparently laser therapy is less effective on light hair. I wanted to try a hair removal cream, but when I tested it on my arms it burnt like fire! (and the cream was for sensitive skin…) Does anyone have advice for me? Shaving is definately not an option…

It is very painful, but if you go to a reputable salon ask if they preform “threading”. The estitician (sp?) will wrap a cotton thread around the hair that needs to be pulled out and then pull. It is very painful and is most simular to plucking, but is very effective. It does not cost much more then waxing. It is also safer because the wax could burn you, where as threading is very sanitary and very safe. The only side effects are a little redness and puffyness where the hair was, but that is normal and will subside quickly.
