What’s the best hair weave glue to buy for gluing extensions?
I am planning to put in some hair extensions using hair glue and I want to know what is the best kind to buy that doesn’t have a bad odor. I put extensions in before and used a black colored hair glue from a beauty supply store and my hair smelled like rotten fish. I had that smell, but I have to do my hair for an important event and money is tight so if you know of any good hair glues let me know. Please no rude comments:D thanks:D

Tip: Liquid Gold dries white and can cause a dandruff/flaky look on your scalp for darker hair. Add some powder rit dye — not the liquid cause that waters it down — but the powder rit dye until it becomes dark enough to match your scalp tone and it doesn’t change the hold of the Liquid Gold at all.
Don’t use the glues sold at the Beauty Supply house they’ll rip your hair off you might as well shave you hair off before the glue does it for you.
If glue is necessary and it is something that you must do, I would say be very careful.
1. Never ever take down your glue-in without first saturating each and every weft with oil.
2. Don’t yank the weft from the hair. The wefts should be separated with no effort at all. If you have any resistance- STOP and add more oil, massage and wait.
3. Do not wash your hair with glued wefts. (this will cause you problems depending on the shampoo you use.)
4. Don’t sweat too much
5. Don’t wear it for more than two weeks.
While glue-in are not bad, it’s the removal process, the amount of glue you use and the frequent use. You have to be careful with the removal process. Sweat breaks down the glue mostly in the temple/hairline area and many ladies just re-glue this part because the install is still fresh. This causes excess glue build up in the most fragile/thinnest part of your head and when you comb the glue out, your hair will come out with it.
***FINAL NOTE***
I have seen some ugly damage with glue in weaves but at the same time, I have seen hair thrive with the install. I would suggest the cap weave if at all possible and use some type of protectant with it (neck strips, end wraps, shower cap) because the cap alone will not protect your hair from the glue. This will usually turn into a removable stocking cap weave (wig) but it’s better health wise for your hair.
