If you own a Maltese dog then in May noticed that your dog has a loss of around eyes and maybe some red-brown color of the eye occurs.
I have 5 Maltese dogs and I have much experience with Maltese eye stain and maybe I can help with solutions.
When I got my Maltese puppy First, I realized that my puppy was cute tear stains around the eyes and I checked with my vet know what was happening. I found the Maltese tend to show the viewpoints of their race.
Well, now what do I do? I have permission from my vet to treat various tear stain solutions, and I'll share something here that can help you too.
Tip 1 – It helps your Maltese to keep face clean and dry. When I was first dealing Malta in the eyes of stain I washed my face with my puppy every day. After cleaning, make sure the area is completely dry.
Tip 2 – Take a close look at the dog eats his food with drinking water. In some cases, food dye that can actually exacerbate the tear staining. One solution is to actually prepare the food yourself, using only natural ingredients and allow them to drink only bottled water.
Tip 3 – Help to maintain hair from their eyes because their Maltese dog hair in the eye may increase the irritation of the eyes and cause your dog's eyes with water and drainage. Many owners of Malta do so by hair around the eyes in a ponytail bun on her head – kind of cute for those of you who like it. You can also cut the hair around the eyes, but for those of you with a shaking hand or your Maltese is a bit nervous or afraid – I do not recommend you cut yourself or may cause injury.
Tip 4 — I dare not share even this recommendation because I do not recommend doing this. However, it is important that you are aware of this method that some owners of Malta use. Some people use chlorine products applied to the hair around the eyes to get rid of these points, but this method can actually be very dangerous for your dog. In fact, can only harm your dog can lead to other places around the eyes.
Tip 5 – This is the only method I use now because it is very easy and it works for all 5 of my Maltese dogs to keep the face clean, dry and bright white. I use this powder all natural and mixes with the food for my dog or water. And in about 2 weeks, draining eyes stop after grinding and hair color, because it is my just born and had more problems Maltese eye stain. Therefore, Preference is my way of combating these eye spots – with 5 Maltese, I need a simple and easy no-safe operation.
