Is dying my hair with henna safe during pregnancy?

I’m almost 5 weeks pregnant and I normally dye my hair red every 6-8 weeks. I don’t much care about now, but at the end of April I have a family reunion I’d like to look nice for. I read that henna dyes are safe during pregnancy. I’m just wondering if this is true or not before I order some. I know they say not to use regular dye…so does anyone have any experience with Henna???

I wouldn’t use henna personally. Its like velcro and coats the hair and is just nasty hard to remove. And it might not be the shade of red that you want. What about a semi-permanent or something like that. Its not as chemically harsh as permanent colour.
