Advice for little girls dressing up as Princesses at Disney World breakfast.?
Hello, we’re having breakfast at the Akershus Royal Banquet hall when we go to Disney World next month. My two year old LOVES Snow White. My question is this: I don’t really want to buy her an expensive costume that’s made of pretty but scratchy material. Do you think she’d be fine in a pretty yellow skirt with a fancy blue top and her hair done up in a red bow? Or would she look out of place with a ton of other little girls in the $50+ costumes? My six year old wants to go as Mulan, so I’m hoping to find a pretty pink dress and making her other pieces (they have some fancy inexpensive Oriental-inspired material at the fabric store that would be perfect). My husband says we’d better go with the Disney outfits, but I sort of think homey made up is more fun. What do you all think? Thanks so much!
We have eaten at this restaurant, and although one or two girls were dressed in costumes, most were not. If your girls are pleased with what you put together for them, great job. I always see the little girls in costumes, and they simply look miserable. They are fussed at for messing them up, they scratch and shift. You are on the right track, it is more important that they are comfortable for the days activities.
