Relaxing my hair once a year bad?

Well, if no harm your hair while it is good, but some people do not really feel the damage until they have no use for years. It's something you have to do and see for yourself. If you think that begins to damage the hair, you can always stop and let your natural hair grow in. I was arrested relaxing because they are too damaging to the hair and caused the constant interruption.
