When my hair brown algae ??!!?!?!?!?!? Go Away
I had this problem since I created my 56gal freshwater tank. I July 13, (2009). (I put that day.) And about a week later, Brown Hair algae appeared. I am aware that this problem was caused by too much light, but even sunlight on it and I have the Aquarium light at around 8 am-10: 30pm daily. I recently bought a Pleco. is growing rapidly and doing a good job keeping on top of the problem. When is "hairy situation" final !!??!
The Pleco should help a lot, even if they prefer hide when there is too much light and algae also grows due to the light, then consider the light and hour later and leave an hour early if possible. This would reduce the light that causes algae and give more time to his Pleco to be ready.
